Module Overview

In each year the students have to achieve a total of 60 ECTS points. In the first year in Hamburg these are based on lectures, in the second year they are based on lectures (30ECTS) and the thesis (30ECTS).

The student will learn to understand similarities and differences between corporate and start-up entrepreneurship, to recognize the distinct nature and specific elements of corporate entrepreneurship in the context of established and international organizations, to understand the different forms of corporate entrepreneurship, to understand their own managerial styles, attitudes and preferences for corporate versus start-up entrepreneurship, to understand the pros and cons of different valuation methods, to understand the interests of venture capital funds and to understand the pros and cons of different growth and exit options.
